At our school, we continue to champion empathy, inclusion and social commitment through real experiences that leave a lasting impression on our students. On this occasion, we had the privilege of welcoming ASPACE to the school to take part in the creation of the ASPACE 2027 Charity Calendar, a meaningful initiative that seeks to give visibility to the world of disability and promote core values within our school community. As part of this project, the House Captains from Years 4, 5 and 6 in Primary School, together with those from Year 10, represented the school in a very special activity. This charity calendar brings together different schools that collaborate with ASPACE, all working towards a shared goal. The calendar is centred on the values that unite us. Each month will be dedicated to a specific value, accompanied by a representative image and a phrase that defines it, reflecting the spirit of the project. To complete this day of shared learning and community, we carried out three joint activities that allowed pupils to connect in different ways. First, we held an artistic activity in which they helped create a large mural using unicorns as the representative element. We then enjoyed a sports activity, sharing the court in a basketball match that encouraged teamwork and inclusion through sport. Finally, we held a culinary activity in which pupils made hummus and ice cream, also taking part in the Granda Chef event and enjoying a practical and collaborative experience. This collaboration continues the relationship we have already been building with ASPACE. During the first term, our pupils visited the centre to help with the Christmas decorations, a deeply enriching experience. We are also sharing some photos and videos from the day so that you can see and enjoy this very special experience. We continue to grow together in awareness, inclusion and solidarity, offering our pupils real opportunities to get involved and help build a fairer, more humane society.
