A Unique International Experience
The ISP MUN allows students to represent different countries, organisations, or political figures, debating and negotiating solutions to global issues. In addition, participants research international topics and take part in simulated committees following diplomatic procedures, gaining practical insight into how the United Nations operates.

Learning and Skill Development
During the experience, Martina developed key skills such as diplomacy, critical thinking, debate, public speaking, leadership, and teamwork. She also strengthened her self-confidence and the bilingual skills she has acquired throughout her years at Palacio de Granda, while deepening her understanding of political, economic, and social issues on a global scale.

Exploration and Practice in Geneva
Martina explored the city and had the opportunity to visit the UN headquarters first-hand, taking part in debates that faithfully replicate the sessions of an international conference. Each meeting allowed her to analyse, discuss, and propose solutions to current global challenges, putting her communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills into practice.

Multicultural Interaction and Personal Development
Beyond academic learning, the experience fostered multicultural interaction, giving Martina the chance to meet students from different countries and strengthen her global perspective and empathy. At the end of the programme, delegates were recognised for their outstanding performance, consolidating an experience that combined personal development, socio-emotional skills, and academic learning.

A Lasting Impact
Participation in ISP MUN enhanced not only Martina’s knowledge but also her adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and strategic thinking. The experience demonstrates how ISP’s international initiatives enable students to acquire life skills, consolidate self-confidence, make the most of their bilingualism, and understand the importance of diplomacy and global collaboration.

Martina returned to Palacio de Granda with new skills, insights, and unforgettable memories, resulting in an experience that leaves a lasting mark on her academic and personal development.
