At Palacio de Granda, our enhanced Spanish curriculum helps pupils develop the knowledge, critical thinking skills and confidence they need to understand the world around them, think independently and act with purpose.
A gateway to broader horizonsFrom the earliest years, children learn English and Spanish through play, songs and stories. Early exposure to English phonics helps build the foundations for natural pronunciation, allowing language to be experienced before it is formally explained.
Learning through experienceStudents explore topics that capture their interest, from animals and nature to history, developing curiosity, critical thinking and active learning through investigation and discovery.
A foundation for lifelong learningChildren begin their journey towards reading and writing long before they form their first letters.
Through graphomotor practice and hands-on activities, children gradually develop the foundational skills that support language development.
Exploring the world of numbersChildren experience mathematics before they write it. Through the Singapore Method, they build concepts gradually and practically through games, counting and hands-on activities, developing logical thinking from the earliest years and laying strong foundations for Primary School.
Putting people firstThrough group activities, play, sensory experiences and psychomotor practice, pupils develop social skills, independence, coordination and confidence.

Pedagogical programmes
Our pedagogical programmes are carefully designed around the early stages of development, with a strong emphasis on language learning.
From an early age, children are immersed in both English and Spanish, supporting the natural and confident acquisition of more than one language. Through play-based activities, stories, songs and interactive dialogue, they develop their communication skills while gaining an appreciation of different cultures.
Problem-solving
We help children develop early problem-solving skills, giving them strategies to approach challenges with confidence. Through critical thinking, creativity and exploration, they learn to analyse situations and find constructive solutions.
Practical activities and real-life projects encourage students to apply what they know in meaningful contexts, building the foundations for future academic success.
Highly qualified teachers
At Palacio de Granda, our educational excellence is shaped by a dedicated team of highly qualified teachers who are passionate about learning. Our native-speaking teachers are committed to each child’s all-round development, adapting learning to their needs and helping them recognise and build on their strengths.
With strong expertise in their fields and a deep commitment to pedagogical innovation, our teachers do more than teach: they inspire, motivate and prepare students for the future.
The Guidance Department has developed a programme designed to support students identified as gifted learners. This programme has been presented to the Association of Parents of Gifted Students to ensure the most appropriate support for our students.
Our approach is clearly structured, giving families a transparent understanding of each stage of their child’s journey, from initial identification and assessment to diagnosis and tailored support. Particular care is also given to students’ emotional development, with guidance provided for both the child and their family.
