Throughout the experience, they connected many of the concepts explored in class with real and meaningful observations. During the visit, they explored authentic fossils, complete skeletons and life-size dinosaur recreations, helping them gain a deeper understanding of how these prehistoric creatures lived, how they adapted to their environment and what may have caused their extinction. The experience sparked their curiosity and strengthened their research and observation skills. They also reflected on the importance of palaeontology in helping us understand the history of our planet and how changes in nature affect living things. This trip helped them broaden their knowledge, ask new questions and continue developing their spirit of enquiry.
