This week, as part of the Granda Chef event for the whole Primary School, students from Year 2 to Year 5 shared a fantastic showcase of their work in Computational Science with the school community, demonstrating how they apply technology across different areas of learning.

Year 2 pupils explained how they programmed Sphero robots to visually represent the process of photosynthesis, while Year 3 presented their Scratch projects connected to Makey Makey boards, allowing the system to explain how a food can be transformed into a new material when it is touched. Year 4 showcased the ice cream scoops and decorations they had designed and 3D printed themselves, while Year 5 brought an organisational dimension to the event with a recipe calculator created in Google Sheets using a range of formulas. A wonderful technological contribution to an unforgettable week for the whole school!
